SA Water was acquired by Mvelaserve in November 2010. The company is a niche specialist in water purification equipment providing a one-stop advanced water treatment solution across Southern Africa. SA Water designs, manufactures, installs, tests and commissions Drinking Water Treatment Plants (DWTP’s). Customers include local communities, mines and municipalities.
SA Water’s DWTP’s can be used in the following applications:
- Lodges and estates;
- Golf estates;
- Municipalities;
- Rural communities;
- Mining communities;
- Swimming pools for fitness and health clubs and Olympic standard pools;
- Emergency relief during and after disasters;
- Temporary water for events in locations where there is not a sufficient supply of clean water;
- Sporting events – purified water using the municipal supply as source; and
- Industrial plants - re-use of processed water.
