The subsidiaries of Mvelaserve operate in labour intensive industries. Currently 92,7% of the workforce comprises historically disadvantaged South Africans.  

Mvelaserve strives to be an employer of choice and a leader in the development of human capital. Mvelaserve remains committed to the principles and spirit of the Employment Equity Act and firmly endorses the four key areas of employment equity including:
  • elimination of discrimination in decision-making;
  • promotion of employee diversity;
  • introduction of measures and procedures for transformation; and
  • reduction of barriers to advancement of the disadvantaged.
